My brother, Hal, in Miami, OK on Friday, June 18. Only one day left, but he looks good for many more.

And here is a pic of Dad after the very hard ride into Tahlequah. Bet you couldn’t tell it was tough by looking at his face!

Here are some pics from our ride last Tuesday from Heavener, OK to Muldrow, OK. The first is of me (taken by my brother, Hal) at an ancestor’s grave in Shady Point, OK. The second is the old house at my Great Grandfather’s farm in Bokoshe, OK. I spent many a summer day dodging wasps there…

And finally, here is an interesting bit of reading about political policy making and facts. It’s no wonder we never know what is really going on.

Our 38 mile ride from Miami to Joplin went quick this morning. Today was the first time I beat the gear truck to our destination.
Once the truck arrived we grabbed our stuff, and at the same time Mom and Ashlee arrived to pick us up. We changed clothes, ate some watermelon, loaded Dad’s truck and hit the road.

After packing Eddy and some dinner I am now sitting at an empty airport. Fortunately my flight is still scheduled and on time. I’m certainly looking forward to getting home to Lori, Cookie, and cooler weather. Just a few more hours.
