She can still see out of that eye. It is a little cloudy where the cornea is scratched, but seems to be clearing up. She had a checkup at the eye-doctor yesterday and is healing well. She has to stay on her medications until next Tuesday when she goes in for another check-up. Hopefully at that point she will be released to be a dog again. Now she is a conehead... :)

Poor Cookie. Will she lose her eyesite in that eye? Snuggles was in a fight with "something" and had a huge chunk taken out of his side but believe it or not, it healed and you can't even see it anymore. Animals do heal quickly.

We met at the campground at Sand Hollow and I have been trying to figure out a way to contact you and pursued your name and found this website.

Congrats to Lori for finishing the St. George Ironman. She is a star in my eyes.

We (Tam and I and Radner Rose) want to offer you all some hospitality if you come back this way. Ironman next year? Or whenever. We live in a beautiful place with lots to see.

We have a home that perhaps would help if it floods again and you can't stay at a campground. We have friends in Rockville that lost about 2 acres of land to the Virgin River. It was very depressing to see part of their land disappear. They had a vineyard, and also grazed their three llamas which have had to go to Escalante to live.

I know you two must work out a lot together and sometimes without your dog. We could help you with that. She is welcome to visit Radner. Perhaps that would give you some freedom to go on long rides.

Anyway, if you want some support, we are here for you. The Navy veteran thing and being a dog owner goes a long way.

We love camping too, as long as I have a comfortable bed, microwave, and the other comforts of home. I am just too old for roughing it.
