Rain, Shine, Rain…

Tuesday, November 16th, 2010

We had a couple of weeks of rain. And now, a couple of weeks of nice, warm weather. This weekend, we should be back to rain.

Since my film pictures lag real life by a couple of weeks, this evening’s pictures are of rain, and then clearing from the rain. First, Lori and Cookie on a walk in the rain, then a picture of Frank Valley, which is the valley downstream of Muir Woods, as the weather was clearing.

Rainy Season

Cookie can be so cute. She isn’t a big fan of the rain, so her raincoat is tolerated.

Pleco Jr.

A couple of weeks ago my 10-year-old fish, Pleco, died. He was 14″ long and after ten years, it was tough to see him go.

After a respectable mourning period, Lori brought home a replacement for me. This guy, while not a plecostomous, (or even a live fish) has a very upbeat personality. And he promises not to eat too much or grow to 14″ either. I think we are going to get along just fine.

This probably is not the best picture I can take of him, so I’ll try again some other evening. I know you’ll be waiting with anticipation…!

Living Life Can Be Filling

Tuesday, November 9th, 2010

Well, I guess what I mean is a full life can be busy. It’s been a while since I have posted here… But life goes on and it has been busy. Between tons of work at “work” I have been working a lot on Android apps too. I’m even starting to “get it” as they say.

It’s late, so only time for a couple of pics — I’ve taken so many that I haven’t had time to do anything with, but here is one from July that was a lot like today, and then one of Lori and Cookie sleeping on the couch. I don’t think they even noticed the flash. :-)
