Continuum

We went up to Wrights Lake for the 4th of July. It’s the third time in a row. It’s a nice campground with spectacular hiking. We took advantage too. It was a wonderful weekend. The pic above is from about 100 yards behind our campsite. Cookie and I discovered it on a marmot terrierorizing walk.

Where Has the Time Gone?

Wednesday, July 7th, 2010

I haven’t had much to say lately. Busy, busy.

I also haven’t been running too much lately. Too many other exercise activities. Hiking, swimming, biking to work, etc. But this morning before I had my shiny new crown installed, I got out for a run. It was glorious. Joyful. Cold. Wet. Foggy. Glorious. Here it is:

One benefit of not running very much since the Dipsea is that I am almost 100% again on my ankle. Call it 98%. And no other injuries. That’s a big benefit for some cross training in the “other” sports.

One last thing: A photo from a run in late June. This picture was taken w/ my Kodak Jiffy camera. 75 years old and still going strong. Pretty good for a “consumer” grade camera. It’s big because it is a large film area. It should have been a 6x9cm pic, but it is actually about 2.5cmx9cm since I was using 35mm film instead of medium format film — much cheaper…
