31/365 - Plenty of Energy Left

Yesterday Lori did her own little (4-hours of riding plus 25 minutes of running) bit of training, and Cookie and I did ours (55 minutes of running, 20 minutes of sniffing, peeing, etc.). Today, Cookie got her walk in and I rode w/ Lori. She was slated for four hours and I think we came in at about 4.25 hours. The picture above is from Pt. Reyes Station. We were about 39 miles in with about 22-23 miles to home. There were really no bad parts to the ride today, and that is very good. Usually four hours of riding includes some pain. Not today. It didn’t even rain on us!

30/365 - Nap Time

Cookie’s run is in, the bath is taken, and now it’s nap time! Yay! It’s fun to be a dog!

28/365 - Woof!

Well, I’ve been having a lot of fun with film cameras. But I do miss the ease of digital. You know, shoot, upload to the computer and enjoy. I’m not planning to go all the way back, but with my new Panasonic Lumix GF1 I use my Leica lenses w/ a reasonably priced digital camera. It’s manual focus, but that’s okay. The shot of Cookie is from the GF1 using my 55-year-old Leica 50mm lens. Fun! Here’s a picture of our orange tree using the same combo:
