363/365 – The End of a Long Day

We hiked, climbed, and crawled through snow and ice for 7 hours today. Our destination was the Subway. We didn’t quite make it all the way because of the ice, cold, and time. We didn’t want to get caught in the canyon after dark. Fortunately we made back to the jeep just as the sun was setting on the cliffs.
Here’s a pic of the Subway area. The Subway was just a bit farther, and oh so far out of reach…
