Fall is Here

For us, we know it is Fall when the weather gets consistently warm. It’s been that way for the last couple of weeks (with the occasional cool, fog-bound day). Today was another 75-85 degree day with a warm evening. No complaints here.
We also get great sunrises due to the smokey atmosphere. Usually the smoke is coming from the East, so the sunrises are filtered and very colorful — even without clouds. That’s the way this morning was too. My first move this morning at 5:59 a.m. was to grab a camera and take the picture. Since these orange sunrises are so predictable, there is a temptation to not pull out a camera and take the picture. The reality though is that most other mornings, while often nice, are just not this colorful. So I push myself to take the shot.
I have been working on a “Project 365″ photo-a-day concept for my theme/blog here. I have made a lot of progress, and have some ideas for a Project 365 page that will hopefully arrive here soon. What I have works. Now I just have to make it look like it fits on this blog.
