Oh No! It’s 8:20 p.m. !

I rode my bike to work today, so of course I also rode home. It takes about 1:45 hours to get home with lots of climbing etc. Anyway, I made it home at about 6:15 p.m. I have a couple of shaving brushes in the works that I have been trying to get finished, and I had been thinking about that as I rode home. So, of course, that means as soon as I could get changed and out in the shop to work on the brushes, that is what I did.

Well, I just came inside, took a shower, and looked at the clock. 8:20 p.m.! No! I never followed up to call my mom to wish her a happy birthday. Now it’s too late…

Mom, I love you and I will call you tomorrow. Just for good measure though, Happy Birthday! again… Talk w/ you tomorrow.

Happy Birthday Mom!

I just tried to call my mother to wish her a happy birthday, but the phone was busy. Happy Birthday Mom! I’ll try to call again in a little bit… A week or so ago I called home to find out how things were going in the Prairies. My mom’s comment was: “This isn’t my birthday.” What’s w/ that? I’m pretty sure I’m allowed to call the week BEFORE her birthday AND on her birthday. I’m going to give it a try anyway.
