It was a beautiful, clear day in the lookout today. I forgot my lunch today, so I ended up eating the acorns stored under the sink. So, to whoever left those behind, thanks! That was a nice little stash.
I spent some time cleaning up the flies and mouse tracks. If you are going to be using the dishes in the lookout, you may want to wash them first. There may be a dead mouse in here, but I can’t seem to find him. I just get an occasional whiff that says he’s here.
Finally, one of the radio batteries (dated 22 Feb 05) appears to be dead. It showed fully charged in the charger, but only lasted about 20 minutes before it was drained. The other battery is working. I’ll let Don know about the problem.
I will upload a pic of a very clear day this evening.

I will have Keith Denebeim bring the bad battery to me and I will take it to the radio shop and exchange it for a new one. I have left a replacement battery at Throckmorton to go up with whoever works next.

We have ordered a mouse deterrent product that plugs into electrical outlets. Anything is worth a try. Hope to see them installed soon.
